Celebration of Life Planned for Peggy Bell

Acelebration of Peggy Bell’s life will take place at Hotel Posada de la Aldea, Ancha de San Antonio 15. Jon Sievert will officiate, and her dear friend Liz Stone will play the piano in accompaniment.

After the hour of remembrances from Peggy’s friends, there will be a reception of fellowship. Attendees may record their reminiscences in a book of life for Peggy’s family. If anyone has mementos of Peggy’s life to share with her family, please bring them.

Peggy was born in China, daughter of missionaries. She taught elementary school and was always involved in politics and charitable causes. She was instrumental in the founding of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Miguel de Allende, Mujeres en Cambio, and Jovenes Adelante. She was active with Democrats Abroad, Global Justice, and the Audubon Society. Peggy is survived by her children, Karen Goddard, Doreen Maxwell, and Eric Poppen, as well as her grandchildren, Brenda Landry, Kyle Poppen, Fayth Goddard, and Scott Poppen, and her great grandson, Walker Landry.
