This is how we remember Robert

Robert de Gast passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, January 3, 2016, in the US. He had battled cancer for over a year. Robert is well known in San Miguel as a photographer, author, and teacher of photography. He was active as a proofreader for Atención. He was also a popular lecturer and led photo tours around the city. Robert published many books, the most popular in San Miguel are The Doors of San Miguel de Allende, Behind The Doors of San Miguel de Allende, The Churches and Chapels of San Miguel de Allende, and The World of San Miguel de Allende, An Uncommon Guide. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Chisolm, and other family members. Robert is an icon in San Miguel and will be remembered and missed.
