Smile, You Are in San Miguel

Magic Town Music is a San Miguel-based festival which features the best country, rock, funk, and alternative musicians from both the US and México, to raise funds to benefit local children. The last take of this festival was named Feel the Groove, held at the idiosyncratic Chapel of Jimmy Ray Gallery, property of the plastic artist Anado McLauchlin and Richard Schultz. The one-day event happened among the live presentations of Spy Boyz! and Pilaseca, a raffle of prizes donated by Love Life Foundation, Guitar Sanctuary, Galeria Buena Vida, Alas de San Miguel, and even vintage Rolling Stones guitar picks from around the world. All the proceeds from Feel the Groove were donated to Casa de Los Angeles, a local daycare that provides free service to single mothers. The next edition of this festival will be held on March 12 & 13, 2016, at the Hacienda de los Picachos. To stay tuned, visit To know about Casa de Los Angeles and to get involved, visit
