Bordello Galería is pleased to announce a seasonally inspired art opening on Saturday, December 12, featuring a collaboration of paintings by Andrew Osta and Karen Woodall. Titled “A Spirit of Play,” this exhibition promises to be whimsical and colorful. It will be up throughout December and January and can be seen any time without an appointment.

While Andrew Osta has been traveling the world, being inspired and painting as he goes, Karen Woodall just recently embraced the brush after an 11-month sabbatical. Both artists will show previously unseen paintings, as well as other items for holiday gift giving. Included are jeweled cards, decorative pillows, items for bambinos, painted plates, and much more.

Woodall notes that painting makes her feel joyful. She utilizes the joy to inspire artwork that would make one happy to look at or to own. Her work is an expression of gratefulness. Karen considers painting to be a privilege and a gift. Osta’s approach to art is very similar. In the past, he worked as an art therapist and is well aware of the positive effects artwork can have on its viewers. He has been painting professionally for 10 years. His paintings can be seen in Hecho en Mexico, Firenze, and Andre Pascal’s hair salon as well as at Casa de la Noche.

We look forward to seeing you for this unique event. This Saturday evening opening is 5-8pm on December 12. Bordello Galería is located at Órganos 19, a half block off Hernández Macías in Centro. Please join us.
