They will be staying at the lovely Real Inn Hotel, very near the historic center. There will be a walking tour upon arrival and a “BYOB” cocktail party both nights. The historic district includes the Cathedral, built in 1558, the city hall, the government palace, the Regional Museum of Guadalajara, the Museo de Cera, Teatro Degollado, the Palacio de Justicia, and the Instituto Cultural de Cabanas. On the second day, the bus will go to Tonalà for fabulous shopping and then to Tlaquepaque for lunch and more shopping or sightseeing. On the third day, there is an optional trip to the Guadalajara Zoo (one of the best in the world),which has a train ride through it. The bus will leave for San Miguel de Allende at 4pm.
