Five compassionate artists from Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the US, and France will exhibit and sell their work in my theater-turned-gallery, and 30 percent will go to Apoyo.
Sae Otomo, Mario Mizrahi, Isis Rodríguez, Philip Louis Phillips, and I are honored to participate in such a giving endeavor. Our works will focus on the human figure, such an endless source of inspiration! Some will be thought-provoking, funny, humorous; some eerily surrealist; some strongly expressionist; some soft and tender. In fact, the whole range of human emotions will be expressed in a variety of sizes and media: drawings, watercolors, oils, collages, assemblages, welded metal sculptures, as well as wall sculptures.
Opening is today from 4 to 7pm! Do not miss it! And if you cannot make it today, there is tomorrow and Sunday, from 11am until 6pm. A week before Thanksgiving, here is a real chance to make a difference in the lives of so many underprivileged human beings.
