Consciousness: A New Definition of Internal Medicine
By Jim Starr
As parents, you wanted to be sure that your children get the best education that money, test scores, and contacts can afford. While the head gets filled with data, logic, and reason, what does the heart get? Often we are well prepared for business but unprepared for life. There is a large void that requires what I have called the need for “internal medicine.”
We were never taught to listen to our instincts or follow our heart (intuition). Instead we are told to listen to our reason and logic. As a parent, it is not your fault for teaching your children survival. The intellect is designed to protect us. So many times we are conditioned to ignore the matters of the heart. Every person alive will eventually confront the four cardinal questions of life:
Where did I come from?
Where am I going?
Who am I?
Why am I here?
Everyone must face these truths on his or her own. Each person will challenge the morals/ethics that they were taught by parents and church and reach conclusions on their own.
I have created a course designed for my patients that opens the heart and teaches you to listen to your inner voice and learn to trust your intuition as well as your mind. It is called The Consciousness of the Heart and it designed for anyone who wishes to overcome obstacles they are facing, clarify their direction, or finally confront themselves with the deepest introspection ever.
It is my belief that everyone needs the education of the mind as taught in school, but equally important is the need for exposure to the internal medicine offered to expand the heart, inner voice, and the consciousness. Imagine the edge you will have in knowledge and wisdom to help manage not only your career and health but your life as well. Whatever stage in your life you may be, it is wise to continue to grow and learn.
The difference between the ignorant and wise man is: The ignorant commits the same mistake 10 times…and the wise man commits 10 new mistakes.
Give yourself the opportunity to learn how to listen to your heart. Your greatest wisdom has always come from the decisions that you make from a balanced perspective of intellect and intuition. This is what I call the Internal Medicine of the heart.
The Consciousness of the Heart training will be offered on Sunday, October 25, from 9am to 6pm. Cost is 2,000 pesos including manual. It is a full day of self-exploration at a level never reached before.
