Dive in

By Karen Ocampo

We are entering the fall and have just a few days to take one more dive without exposing ourselves to the cold weather. Hurry! Put on your swimsuit, take sunscreen, towels, and a good book, and jump into a car heading away from the city to the best water adventures in the area.

Start your day on the right foot at Escondido Place with its10 hot springs. With a deliciously perfect water temperature of 35° to 40° C (95°F to 104°F), it has the best body benefit resources, and you can have a leisurely breakfast in the restaurant right there.

In the afternoon, we recommend that you look around Atotonilco El Viejo. There you can taste delicious food at La Palapa. Eat slowly and move calmly to the pool. After relaxing in the water, or trying a massage from the wide variety of choices, hop back into the car.

Have your dinner at Nirvana, a place where it “… is better not to typecast our cuisine within a style; here we flow with the rhythms of nature and abundance of Mother Earth, who, besides providing us with fruit, inspires us day to day, season to season.”
