Maestro Cabrero, presenter of the San Miguel International Symphony, opens the program with Porgy and Bess selections, ballet music by Manuel de Falla, and Mexican waltzes.

Throughout the evening he will accompany his friend Enrique Fernández, a singer headed for an international career at the hands of the most important voice coaches and managers in Los Angeles, California. Enrique de Allende is his adopted artistic name, recalling that he was born here and visits frequently. He will display his vocal technique in songs by Caruso, Sinatra, and Agustin Lara.

Two men on stage would be lonely without the stage presence of a lady singer, so Maestro Cabrero invited a good friend of his, Judy Marzulli, a vocalist with a large following in San Miguel, to join the men on stage. Judy is a specialist in Broadway, Gershwin, and jazz standards. Cabrero has already requested that she sing “Someone to Watch Over Me” by Gershwin.
