Life and Death in Mexico, a Legal Journey
By Robin Loving Rowland
How many of us are totally secure in our understanding of our immigration status, insurance needs, real estate rights, taxes, how to hire/fire staff, contracts, estate planning, and all things medical, from medical directives to evacuation plans to final disposition of our earthly remains? I personally could tell you nothing about some of these matters, and I have been here 10 years.
So it is that the Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende, Midday, has invited Diana Cuevas to address each of these matters on Tuesday, July 14, at 12:30pm at Hotel Misión, Salida a Querétaro.
Cuevas is uniquely qualified to share these types of critical information. With three master’s degrees in international law (she studied at Harvard, in Sweden, and in Mexico), Cuevas is a licensed and practicing attorney in both the US and Mexico. She’s been in private practice for 10 years, specializing in providing international clients with business and personal legal services. Cuevas’s services include power of attorney, import/export licenses, intellectual property registration, conflict resolution/negotiation, translation, and non-compete and nondisclosure agreements. The presentation will be free.
Rotary unites neighbors, community leaders and global citizens for the common good. For more information, contact President David McGinnis at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about Cuevas, contact email@example.com.
