The event, Thursday, July 16, from 6-10 pm, will benefit the Academia Internacional, which promotes excellence in education that produces a student community of social/economic inclusiveness, multi-cultural and bilingual integration, and leadership initiative.
“My son goes to this wonderful school, and I am pleased that this school is not just for the rich and affluent,” said Gary Weinstein. “He has friends that are children of maids, gardeners and office workers. Many are single parents working hard and in need of subsidies. I am proud that the school gives scholarships and that my son is getting a multi-cultural and bilingual education in an accepting student body with wonderful teachers! Even though we will be out of town, I will be buying two tickets,” he concluded.
For a contribution of only 250 pesos, you can participate in this benefit for the Academia Internacional and possibly win the raffle, even if you don’t attend. Wine and appetizers will be served, and there will be a cash bar. Tickets are available at the Academia, Stirling Dickenson 2, and at Las Conexión, Aldama 3.
