Don’t delay, please deposit pesos and dollars today!

Details are here: call our office at 152 6124 to find out how to contribute (cash, check, PayPal).

Speaking of eating, does your pet have bad breath? This is only one sign of dental disease. Our SPA cats and dogs (like Genevieve and Brandy) and yours would benefit from a thorough teeth cleaning! Not only is dental care vitally important to teeth and gums, but it is also equally important to your pet’s overall health and contributes to longevity. Periodontal disease is an inflammation of a tooth’s deep supporting structures and causes the build-up of plaque on the teeth. It is the most common ailment affecting cats and dogs, but it is entirely preventable. According to the American Veterinary Dental College, periodontal disease cannot only cause problems in the mouth and teeth, but it may also “be associated with damage to internal organs in some patients as they age.”

Your pet can’t tell you about tooth pain and will instinctively hide illness or weakness. It is up to you to be vigilant. Here are the signs you need to look for that indicates oral or dental disease:

1. Bad breath

2. Loose teeth

3. Discolored teeth, yellowed from tartar

4. Chewing from only one side

5. Drooling or pawing at the mouth

6. Avoiding your contact with their face

7. Loss of appetite or weight.

Periodontal disease is often not treated until it is too late and has already done extensive damage. Protect your beloved pet by getting a professional teeth cleaning, the purpose of which is to remove plaque and tartar. The SPA has an ultrasonic scaler and polisher. For July, our normal price of 900 pesos has been reduced by 20 percent to 720 pesos (includes proper anesthetic, professional cleaning, and antibiotic), so now is the time to act. Improve your pet’s dental health, quality of life, and overall well-being by making a dental cleaning appointment today at 152 6124, Los Pinos 7.
