Smile, You Are in San Miguel

The food festival, Vino, Paella, Pinchos y Tapas, took place with great success on May 30 on the premises of Hotel Casa de Aves. About 15 different chefs prepared paellas for the diners who tasted the tierra paella made with chicken, pork, sausage, pork chop, smoked ribs, rabbit, and vegetables; the mixed tapa with seafood; and the Fideuá, basically with pasta; and the paella prepared with squid ink. Also present were eight chefs with a wide variety of tapas and snacks.

As for the wine, six houses were present, including Cuna de Tierra, Habla, Matarromera, and Proventus.

The festival featured a flamenco show led by teacher Amparo Fernández and accompanied by the Alma Cuatro guitarists.
