Presentation of The Flight of Desire

Manelick de la Parra is an author who touches irreverence in all topics such as art or business, and even on pleasure he can be irreverent. He is eloquent and has a great imagination. He is a person that understands the humor of words; his tongue has no limits and he loves to laugh out loud.

Isabel Allende wrote for the prologue of his book, “Very few books have captivated me quite like this. The things that I truly enjoy I have found in this book: novel, adventure, humor, sensuality, magic, great passion, a poetic touch, and even a benevolent glance which smoothes the violence of the story.”
De la Parra has participated in movies, novels, stories, and business. He is the founder and director of the Music Festival of the Americas in Stowe, Vermont for 12 years with the support of famous people, such as Placido Domingo.
Now we are pleased to have this special man in San Miguel de Allende. He will be presenting his book and offering us a cocktail full of music and art. Rafael Cauduro has illustrated the cover of the book.
