Carlo Mirarchi (New York, USA)

Mirarchi is a chef and owner of highly acclaimed Brooklyn restaurants Roberta’s and Blanca, which received a Michelin Star in 2012 and was named one of the country’s top 10 restaurants by the Times and Bon Appétit. He was named one of Food and Wine’s Best.

Neal Fraser (Los Ángeles, USA)

Fraser has an impressive resume that includes opening, along with wife and business partner Amy Knoll Fraser, two of Los Angeles’ best loved restaurants, Grace and BLD. Recently, Fraser opened a fast-casual concept called Fritzi Dog and in 2012, he took over Vibiana and opened Redbird. Chef Fraser has been seen on the Food Network series Iron Chef America and Top Chef Masters, and most recently battled (and beat) chef Bobby Flay on Beat Bobby Flay.

Ted Corrado (Toronto, Canada)

Corrado has been corporate executive chef at Drake Hotel Properties since 2013. Prior to taking the culinary reins at the Drake, Corrado was executive chef at the Royal Ontario Museum’s lauded c5 Restaurant. In its first year, c5 was heralded as one of Toronto Life’s 10 Best New Restaurants. Corrado also won Chef of the Year in 2008 from the Compass Group Canada and was named a Top 10 Chef in Toronto for the Gold Medal Plates competitions between 2009 and 2011.

Quinten Frye (Washington DC, USA)

Frye, an Austin native, was first introduced to farm-to-table and sustainable food practices at an early stage in his career. He was the executive chef at SALT Bar and Kitchen, Hawaii’s “Best New Restaurant” of 2012. He was named James Beard Award Semi-Finalist for Rising Star Chef of the Year and Hawaii Rising Star Chef for Sustainability. Frye´s next venture was to open Cocina Modern Mexican. Frye returned to the mainland in 2014 to run the show at Big Bear Café in Washington DC.

Bret Thompson (Los Ángeles, USA)

Born and raised in LA, Thompson opened and managed the kitchen operations of many of the Patina Group Restaurants (Orange County Chef of the Year in 2002 at Catal). Bret left the Patina Group to open MILK in Hollywood and Market Restaurant and Catering. In 2014 Bret opened his newest restaurant, Pez Cantina, a Coastal Mexican Kitchen in downtown Los Ángeles.

Lily Jones (London, England)

Jones is a London-based baker, author of two best selling recipe books, and owner of The Lily Vanilli Bakery. Her clients include Elton John and Downing Street. She is one of the co-founders of the YBF Awards.  “It’s thanks to artisans such as Lily Vanilli that baking has never been so hip.” Sunday Times Style.

Joe Hargrave (San Francisco, USA)

Hargrave, CEO of Tacolicious, has four locations in San Francisco (one soon to open in SMA!) and a tequila bar called Mosto. He recently opened Chino, a new restaurant that has received very good reviews. He also has a line of Mexican products sold at Williams-Sonoma.
