Festival of Wine and Paella Is Coming

The Fourth Gastronomic Festival in San Miguel de Allende, Wine, Paella, Pinchos, and Tapas will take place on May 30 at the Entertainment Center of Hotel Casa de Aves from 2pm to 10pm. The ticket will cost 1,200 pesos, which will include tasting the culinary creations of renowned chefs who will cook at the time of the event, as well as tastings from six wineries. Among those to participate is the Spanish chef Pablo San Román and the Basque chef Pepe Ortega, both will cook before the guests at the event and then interact with them. Wines from Spain include Habla wine, Matarromera wine, and Proventus wine. Those from Mexico will be Cuna de Tierra, La Cetto, and El Cielo. There will also be a tasting of the mezcal Gracias a Dios and Hércules, in addition to Corona beer. There will be performances by flamenco dance teacher Amparo Fernández, the guitarists “Alma Cuatro,” and a DJ for those who like to dance late into the night. This festival is intended for an adult audience. Children under 15 years will not be admitted. Tickets can be purchased at the Hotel La Morada or www.eticket.mx.
