The Danza Viral Colectivo Escénico group has been a company for five years. To celebrate, it presented “Imágenes sueltas” at the Teatro Ángela Peralta. Included were “Platillo: Flamencoráneo,” a recipe for a perfect mixture of flamenco and contemporary dance; “Instrucciones para el Desamor,” a piece inspired by the poetry of the Argentine Oliverio Girondo, “El Lienzo,” highlighting the beauty of the body on stage, among the six pieces. Closing with a flourish, the group performed “Verme Hondo,” in which flamenco and contemporary dance develop a hectic argument. The members of this group are: Andrea Holguin, Diana Vizcaya, Kimberly Medina, and Nashieli Buelna.
