International Dance Day 2015!
By Margot Sunev
International Dance Day, April 29, was established by the International Dance Council CID 1982. The purpose of Dance Day is to attract the attention of a wider public to the art of dance.Patty Arrieta, a professional dancer from New York City and artistic director of Danza Arrieta Dance, is organizing an event for the SMA community. This year marks the third annual “free day of dance.” I sat down with Patty to discuss this year’s celebration.
Margot Sunev: What are you planning for International Dance Day 2015?
