St. Paul’s Anglican Church Begins New Offering
By William O. Gregg
In response to feedback we have received, St. Paul’s Anglican Church is pleased to begin a new offering on Sundays. Each Sunday afternoon, beginning at 4pm, there will be a Bible study. Conversational in nature, the study will range across books of the Bible, topics of concern or interest, biblical themes, and the historical and theological contexts of the biblical writings. We will explore the nature, meaning, and application of Scripture to ourselves and to daily life. Our study together will engage Scripture from multiple perspectives. In the Anglican tradition, questions are always welcomed, whatever they may be. The study will be facilitated by Bishop William, Rector of St. Paul’s.
Bible Study and Evening Prayer
Every Sun, 4-5:30pm
St. Paul’s church
During the Bible Study, childcare and activities will be provided. So, children are welcome.
At 5pm, we are going to conclude the afternoon with evening prayer. Once a month, we shall conclude with a celebration of Holy Communion. The whole family is welcome at our prayer. Silence and stillness of the littlest ones is neither expected nor necessary. Liturgy will be more informal. Each part of these Sunday gatherings is freestanding so that everyone is invited to attend Bible study, evening prayer, or both.
William O. Gregg, PhD, is the Right Reverend Rector at St. Paul’s.
