Yoga for the Season

By Deborah Miller

Why change our yoga in the different seasons? Just as our eating changes with each season, so should our yoga. In summer we crave lighter, cooler foods like salads and fruits, and our yoga should be more cooling. As summer turns to fall, soups, stews, and casseroles are the mainstay of our diet, craving warmer, heartier foods to nourish our body, and our yoga should be more grounding, like root vegetables.
