Colorful Art Inauguration

Smile, You Are in San Miguel

By Sandra Ríos

On Friday, January 30, Casa Europa presented an incredible opening with a great display of creativity and color by the painter Andrew Osta. This young painter came from Ukraine, his native country, to Mexico four years ago to reside permanently in San Miguel. Osta defines his work as figurative, based on archetypes. His work has been exhibited in Ukraine, USA, Canada, South Korea, Peru, and Mexico. At the opening he dedicated a space to Toller Cranston, presenting a video and photos of his deceased friend. This exhibition will be open until February 15. Then Osta will carry his work to the Pinacoteca Diego Rivera Museum in Xalapa, Veracruz.

San Francisco 23, Centro.
