A Light-hearted Look at the Bóveda

By Emma Salazar

On February 22, the Biblioteca House and Garden tour is pleased to present three spectacular homes and a work-in-progress bóveda (vaulted ceiling) by well-known Juárez master bovederos, under the supervision of talented architects and/or homeowners.

House & Garden Tour
Dazzling Vaulted Ceilings
Sun, Feb 22
Buses leaving at 11am and 12noon

Each of the houses on this tour will showcase beautiful homes, incredible bóveda vaulted ceilings, and lots of art. As a special feature, in addition to visiting three lovely homes, the tour will stop at a house that is currently under construction with a bóveda ceiling in the process of being installed as part of the design of the house. You will get a first-hand view of the construction and techniques used to make these amazing ceilings. They seem to defy gravity, and often many people will ask how they are constructed. We hope we can help answer this question for you!

The three residences that will be shown combine mixed forms with nature, stunning multi-textured areas, spacious comfortable seating areas, colorful artwork, charming furnishings and objects d’art and, of course, several bóveda (vaulted) ceilings.

Monday to Friday
Tickets 270 pesos or US$20
