Make a Donation to La Biblioteca and Support the Children and Youth of San Miguel

For 60 years, the library has supported the education and culture in the community of San Miguel de Allende, in particular children and young people, with free activities that support their intellectual and social development. The three main programs that you can support include scholarships, educational programs, and the collection of library books. We have tax-deductible receipts.
Educational programs
The library offers free classes for children and youth in San Miguel: computer classes, reading encouragement, English, science, painting, guitar, piano, choir, and crafts.
Students, children, adults, and the public use the collection of books. Collections need to be updated, so financial support is necessary.
Since 1960, the library has provided students from rural communities and those living in urban areas, grants to begin or continue their studies. These scholarships allow students to complete high school and/or college.
