Copa de Golf Latinoamericana

On December 11 the first Copa de Golf Latinoamericana in San Miguel de Allende took place at Club de Golf Ventanas de San Miguel. For four consecutive days, twelve of the best Mexican golf players competed against twelve Latin American players. The Latin American group, with players from Colombia, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic, was the winner of the Cup. During the awards ceremony, Oscar Serna, a member of the Mexican team and tournament organizer, thanked his colleagues for the tournament’s success because the “golf wins and thus we all do.”
Eduardo Herrera, Latin American team captain, congratulated his team for the great game they played. The godmother of the Cup was the Mexican golfer Lorena Ochoa.
