Great Exhibit at Café Santa Ana

By Sandra Ríos

On Friday, December 5, Café Santa Ana of La Biblioteca presented “Fragments,” the new exhibit by artist Juan Antonio Ruiz.

Juan Antonio studied art at the Centro Cultural “El Nigromante,” Bellas Artes, and later in the city of Guanajuato where he studied visual arts as a complement to a career in graphic design. The exhibit featured 15 works in acrylic in different formats. Windows and doors were captured in the paintings, as well as horses and bullfights—one of the passions of the artist,— expressing details, times, colors, and flashes of moments in the solid and perpetual canvas. The artist’s work will be on sale throughout the month of December. Reloj 50A.
