Intervención de Cuerpos y Objetos: Rhizomatiks X Elevenplay Dance Company
The assembly of this work in Mexico will be a unique experience. It uses the technique of modifying the image of bodies and objects known as projection mapping: it is projection procedure that turns any surface into a receiver of the element projected on it, generating various visual effects. One of the champions in the use of this category of interactive electronic resources is the Japanese Daito Manabe, who is considered a creator, teacher, and adviser by even experts in multimedia programming. This man leads the Rhizomatiks group, composed of virtuosos of the arts and sciences in the vanguard, from mathematicians to visual artists, designers, engineers, and programmers. The tremendous artistic ability of this group, Elevenplay Dance Company, is directed by Mikiko, who prepares the bodies as a poetic territory where the idea of the subject has new conceptual dimensions.
