Improv theatre is pure invention—a way of making things up spontaneously, out of whatever comes to mind on the spot. All of us improvise in our daily lives— after all, conversations we have with friends, colleagues, and strangers happen on the spot without much planning—and for students and actors of improv theater, this art form offers an amazing opportunity to let go of inhibitions, create characters out of thin air, think fast on our feet, and much more. As a result, the audience plays witness to a performance that has never been seen before and will never be seen again—all very exciting and often quite hilarious. Your chance to enjoy San Miguel’s own improv troupe The Improv People—and to participate with suggestions for settings, relationships, and situations—happens on Saturday, September 27, at 7pm at Teatro Santa Ana. Seating is limited and advance ticket sales are available at the box office for 100 pesos. Please note that all previous shows performed by The Improv People have sold out. Get your tickets early. You’ll love it!
