Hernández Macías 74
During these two days, activities, such as exchange of knowledge, practice of different techniques with reed, screenings, lectures, and exhibition and sale of products will take place in the Bellas Artes corridors.
The Archi-textures group will present a project that emerged in San Miguel de Allende in late 2012 and is the result of a creative process led by architect Casilda Barajas in collaboration with the basketry artisans of the communities of La Huerta, Humildad Damián, and Juan Hernández, and the textile artist Patricia Robles, who has taught courses at Bellas Artes since 2013.
Archi-textures was awarded first place in the Iberoamerican Textile Network competition in 2012, and its projects are supported by the State Program of Popular Culture, PACMYC 2014.
The reed and bio-building fair will take place on September 20 and 21, at Bellas Artes, from 10am to 5pm.
