A walk through San Miguel

By Sandra Ríos

Have a delicious breakfast at La Biblioteca’s Café Santa Ana, a charming indoor/outdoor location surrounded by art. We recommend the breakfast packages that include coffee, fruit or juice, rosemary potatoes and refried beans, bread, butter and jam, or tortillas and salsa. Among dishes in this package, we especially suggest red chilaquiles with eggs. If you prefer something sweet, you can order the tasty blueberry hot cakes.

Within the same Biblioteca building, you can ask about the popular Sunday House and Garden Tour, which takes visitors to attractive, typical, and sometimes unusual, San Miguel houses to discover beautiful courtyards and architecture, or the Cantina Tour that will introduce you to five of the most iconic bars in San Miguel.

At the end of the tour of your choice, you can return to Café Santa Ana to taste its new special menu, consisting of soup, stew, and dessert. It also includes a drink, like lemonade, orangeade, coffee, or tea. Check the menu for other possibilities.
