If you like movies, there are a lot of options in San Miguel de Allende for watching good films, while enjoying your favorite drink and some delicious popcorn.

In the Sala Gabriel Figueroa, at Teatro Santa Ana, you will be able to see great movies on a big screen with surround sound. This movie theater has a long tradition for its international independent films presented in their original language with English subtitles, like documentaries, comedy, drama and musical all this in a great atmosphere. With your ticket you’re supporting the Biblioteca’s free courses and scholarship programs for children. Look for the weekly program in Que Pasa or call directly.

Another option is a small cinema called Pocket Movie Theater, which offers two delightful screening rooms, a choice of up to 14 different films a week, with six viewings a day. The movies are in the original language with English subtitles. The theatre showcases a wide variety of documentary, independent and foreign films from Monday to Friday.

Cafeta del Sindi presents films in Spanish, from Spain, México, Argentina, etc. without subtitles, every Monday at 9pm; this movie theater is for Spanish-speaking people. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The entry ticket includes popcorn. They also feature an open bar where you can buy something refreshing to drink.

The space has a capacity for about 30 people.
