By John Wharton

With the deadline of July 20 past and with no agreement in sight, the world is once again forced to consider how to deal with the possibility of a nuclear Iran. The West fears the program may be aimed at developing a nuclear weapons capability but Iran says it wants only peaceful nuclear energy. Israel believes any Iranian nuclear weapon poses an existential threat to its existence.
