In San Miguel we have gastronomic, cultural and adventure attractions. Here we suggest a few activities to try out. To start the day with energy and enjoy a typical Mexican morning, the Ten Ten Pie restaurant is a good local eatery with many good choices. We recommend the fried eggs on steak topped with salsa, beans and chilaquiles.
Cuna de Allende 21, Centro.
To go for a walk after such a hearty breakfast, we suggest heading for one of the most emblematic places in the city, the Centro Cultural Ignacio Ramírez “El Nigromante,” better known as Bellas Artes. Here you can appreciate the work of David Alfaro Siqueiros, a great Mexican muralist, visit the temporary exhibitions at the art galleries and admire the sculpture garden exhibit.
Hernández Macías 75, Centro. Free entrance. 9am-7pm.
After the cultural tour, putting some adrenaline into our journey is a good idea. If that means flying, all the better! For this the motorized flight of Delta Wing is one of the most exciting journeys in San Miguel for enjoying and appreciating our beautiful scenery from above. The company also has an interesting archaeological flying route over Cañada de la Virgen.

Back in San Miguel, we deserve a nice dinner with a Peruvian twist, in a cheerful and sophisticated place in Centro, the restaurant La Parada. Here there is a variety of ceviches. We recommend the “Ceviche La Parada,” which comes with fish, mango, corn, toasted coconut and concentrated ceviche juice. It can be accompanied by a delicious pisco mojito, made with pisco, mint, lemon, mineral water and Peruvian mango. (Pisco is a typical distilled drink from Peru, made from the fermented wine of certain types of grapes)
Recreo 94, Centro. 12pm-10pm.
