The lay-led service contains a Wisdom Offering entitled “Tell Me a Story,” presented by Barbara Kalis. Story telling is part of every culture. Children delight in hearing or telling them. What are these stories? —ways to teach about life, behavior, justice love, and courage. Stories give us so much. At this joint worship service, you are invited to listen and then respond perhaps with your story. Music will be provided by Lorelei Capell.

The service will blend the unique elements of both worship services while focusing on the things each congregation has in common, such as outreach to the community and the sharing of joys and concerns. The 45-minute service begins at 9:30am and is followed by coffee and refreshments. All are welcome to stay and attend the traditional service of the Community Church that follows at 11am.
