Tasting Lamb and Mezcal

A successful fourth edition of the Second Semana Internacional de la Gastronomía Guanajuato ¡Sí Sabe!

Upon arriving at the Festival del Cordero y el Mezcal we found a wide range of original and creative ways to cook lamb, prepared by cooks from 12 of the best restaurants in San Miguel de Allende and the state of Guanajuato. Along with lamb mezcal was the star, with 17 Mexican producers offering their libations. People could enjoy an incredible variety of exquisite flavors of mezcal and lamb. The official ham cutter of the Royal House of Spain, Florencio Sanchidrián, showed off his skills and shared with guests the rich ham that came from his sharp carving knife. Once again we witnessed the great gastronomy available in San Miguel in the Jardines del Vergel at the Hotel Real de Minas.
