Laughter Yoga classes in Parque Juárez

Come have some exercise in a fun and entertaining way. If we laugh we are energized, relaxed and more present in our daily activities.

Psychologist Elizabeth Rendón offers Laughter Yoga classes at the Parque Juárez kiosk every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am to 10:30am. She was certified as a Laughter Yoga teacher in 2011 and offers it in addition to her other professional work. The class is open to youths and adults; all you need to bring is a towel or blanket and water, and wear comfortable clothes. Donations are voluntary. This movement was created in India by Doctor Katari in 1995. Its main benefits are oxygenating the brain and body and making you feel more relaxed; it strengthens the immune system, generates endorphins, eliminates insomnia and strengthens ties with others, since this exercise is done in teams. It also burn calories in a fun way. A guided 20-minute relaxation that maximizes the physiological benefits of Laughter Yoga is done at the end of the class.
