Being awake in the 21st century

By Robin Loving Rowland

New truths are being revealed in our new century as changes are a constant. Are you awake to witness them? If so, how are you reacting, in fear and numbness, or with the anticipation of limitless possibilities? It’s your choice, says psychologist and LifePath Center founder Beverly Nelson, Ph.D, who will present on being awake in the 21st century Sunday, April 6, at 10:30am at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Miguel de Allende at Hotel La Aldea at Ancha de San Antonio 15, across from the Instituto Allende.

Nelson emphasizes individual transformation in her work that has spanned the globe in the past four decades. She has dedicated her life to the healing process, one of her specialties being trauma reduction.

UUs value the individual spiritual journey. UU faith is of deeds, not creeds. There is perhaps no faith community that affirms more completely the power and potential of women and men to find and/or create meaning. What brings UUs together is a commitment to community. UUs know that differences need not divide us. UU presentations emphasize the values of community, spirituality and social justice.
