In this case the curator explores the suspension of time, cyclical time and the time-memory from the pieces from the Kunsthaus collection. Stopping a moment to find meaning in a world that does not stop under the unrelenting pace of time conceived by us. The effect called time dilation occurs when two observers move at different speeds, and time ceases to be the same for both. Pure relativity. This phenomenon associated with the severity and speed affects time — and not just perceptually. It is already proven that clocks run slower at sea level than in the stratosphere. This serves a pretext for reading a series of images, and to give us the opportunity to observe time and glimpse at what happens in that suspended reality.

The exhibited pieces from the Kunsthaus Collection and the curator´s own collection are combined in this case with a unusual museography in the space of the gallery along with design objects from Villasana, Plasencia et al. from León, Guanajuato. Grisell Villasana has a vast experience in contemporary art thru many years, directing two galleries in León, besides several positions in cultural institutions and museums of Mexico, is now a resident of San Miguel de Alende. The exhibition will remain open until February 2014. Kunsthaus Santa Fé has a new web page www.kunsthaussantafe.com, that will focus on the Collection and the new exhibitions, and will eventually have all the previous exhibitions held in this space since 1997.
