New at O.M.O.
By Jim Corcoran
On Friday, December 6, Galería O.M.O. will host an exhibition of new paintings by Heder Contreras. Heder is a highly accomplished artist from Guanajuato. With this, his first show in San Miguel, he will be presenting paintings that reflect the urban surroundings which are most familiar to him. Hence, the show is titled “Mi Mundo.” Besides his paintings, Heder is known for his large-scale bronze sculptures, which can be seen in cities throughout Mexico. He is also proficient at stage and movie sets as well as large-scale props used in malls and other public spaces.

On the same evening, O.M.O. will be introducing the work of Christophe Ducoin to San Miguel de Allende. Christophe, who is from France, where he ran his own gallery, now resides with his wife in Puebla.
Last but not least, we will have a new collection of paintings from our own enfant terrible, Raul Campos. Since joining the gallery nine months ago, Raul’s provocative work has been extremely well received locally and abroad. At the tender age of 20, he has already secured a US gallery in Seattle, and is being represented at international shows.
