Casa Acanto debuts

Sollano 16 is a store known for good taste and elegance; it has been located at this address for 10 years, bringing products into the country from all over the world along with an exclusive collection of Mexican furnishings and accessories. As a part of this lifestyle and home collection, the shop offered a cocktail reception to launch a new interior design line called Casa Acanto, by Andrew Fisher and Jeffry Weisman, to be carried exclusively at Sollano 16. The inventive style of this duo of designers from San Francisco is inspired by the process of renovating and furnishing an 18th-century house in San Miguel. The designs reflect the passion Fisher and Weisman discovered working with gifted craftsmen and exciting new materials to create the landmark home they named Casa Acanto.

On October 30 they held an opening reception for their showroom within the shop and the renovation they did on the dining room of The Restaurant, which now features their puzzle-like tables and a ceiling mural by artist Polly Stark-Ortega. Lovers of the good life congregated to enjoy cocktails and look at the new designs.
