Bazaar of Art and Design: Empowering independent designers
By Jade Arroyo
The first Bazaar of Alternative Art and Design is intended to be a platform for designers and independent artists to offer their work for sale and showcase new trends and innovative products, adding an element of surprise and creativity to the array of shopping experiences in the city. Several of the designers are showing their work for the first time in San Miguel.
The bazaar encompasses many styles and forms of expression and entertainment: music, fashion, accessories, industrial design and functional and decorative arts. It is a forum in whichMexican designers and artists can grow, develop and gain support.
