October, November, and December
La Biblioteca’s Courtyard
Tickets and Registration also available online
Tickets and registration are always available online at www.sanmiguelwritersconference.org. However, since many people prefer to purchase tickets in person, the conference registrar, Nathan Feuerberg, will be ready to serve you in the courtyard of the Biblioteca at Insurgentes 25 on the first and third Tuesdays during October, November, and December from 11am to 2pm each of those days. He will be available more frequently in January and February.
Single event tickets are available for keynote addresses by Pat Conroy (The Great Santini, The Price of Tides); Yann Martel (Life of Pi); Laura Esquivel (Like Water for Chocolate); Benjamin Alire Sáenz (PEN/Faulkner award winner); David Whyte (poet and professional speaker); Kathi Diamant (Kafka’s Last Love); and Ellen Bass (poet).
Other events open to the public include the highly acclaimed play, Women of Will, about the women in Shakespeare’s plays; two panels featuring the keynote speakers; a panel on the New Era of Publishing; a panel called “Women Write Their Lives;” a panel of Literary Agents; and a highly acclaimed program featuring distinguished writers called “Women’s Voices.”
Full Conference registrations are also still available and include, in addition to all of the above, eight 90-minute workshops (choose from 56 available workshops), pitch sessions with top literary agents, four-hour intensive workshops for writers, receptions, our legendary fiesta, and more.
