Fall clearance sale!
By Joan DiPiero
Although the SPA cat volunteers like nothing better than to shower love and attention on our feline residents, we know there is no substitute for a forever home. Currently, our cat population is bursting at the seams. Although we consider our cats priceless, during the month of October, for the first time ever, we will waive the 350 pesos adoption fee and you can adopt one for free!
Adoption of a pet should be considered with care. Even “free” cats require food, litter, veterinary care, etc., so a responsible owner is a must. Perhaps you have considered adopting a kitten or adding a second or third cat to your household. With this incentive and a huge selection, now might just be the right time for you. Just come in, fill out an application, and choose the perfect one for you or let the cat choose you! Neutering and vaccinations are included. If you have a difficult time deciding among all our fantastic cats, take advantage of this offer by taking more than one. The cats will love the extra company and you will have twice the fun.
We have an amazing selection of colors, ages, and personalities. How about little Brynn, a sweet, snuggling black and white girl with a striking Cindy Crawford beauty mark on her chin? Or maybe Karla, a lovely tortoise kitten with a dramatic split nose pattern, once homeless and smart enough to meow persistently enough to be rescued and brought to us. Would you prefer an adult? Chuy is a guaranteed lap cat, purring away the minute she is held, gazing at you intently. Bohdi, a big fluffy bundle of affection, is a gorgeous longhaired orange male with gold eyes who yearns for a home where he will be the center of attention.
We could go on and on extolling the many virtues of each of our cats, but why not come by and see for yourself (Monday-Saturday, 11-2, Los Pinos 7, 152-6124)? If you have never seen the SPA cattery, you will be pleasantly surprised. Although hopefully only a temporary home for our cat population, it is a happy place, filled with reclining languid adults, kittens playing every which way, and others snuggling and asleep in a massive kitten pile. We do our best to keep them feeling secure and loved, but we know, in their hearts, they want to go home with you!
