Grill and Garden at Los Senderos

Los Senderos is a naturally beautiful place, simple and authentic. On the extensive property, which features private residences, vineyards and areas for horseback riding, we also found the restaurant Grill and Garden.
Grill and Garden offers dishes based on a philosophy of love and respect for nature. It is an ideal place for lovers of the open air, who will find a relaxed atmosphere there. The food offered is varied, and the dishes are created around produce available from the organic gardens, such as cactus, lavender, rosemary, lettuce, and squash blossoms—even grasshoppers, which will soon be included on the menu. Other local products such as cheeses, artisanal beer, portobello mushrooms and wines are also included. Grill and Garden shared with Atención the recipe for a classic Caesar salad, which actually originated in Mexico: it was created in 1936 in Tijuana.
Grill and Garden is only open on weekends, Friday through Sunday, starting at 1pm. It is located on the highway to Dolores Hidalgo at kilometer 3.5, a few minutes away from Centro. Reservations are recommended. Call 155-9594 or visi www.los-senderos.mx.
