Born in Israel, I began working in oils, ceramics, sculpture and charcoal as a teenager in Tel-Aviv. After several years in London I moved to Massachusetts in my late 20s and was mentored there by the well-known American contemporary painter Gregory Gillespie, whose influence informs much of my artistic philosophy, technique and mythology.
My exploration of various artistic media ultimately progressed to work in oils on canvas; my work spans a wide range of artistic styles from figurative to abstract and is the expression of a spiritual quest invested in wonder, a combination of the real and the imaginary.
My paintings have been exhibited at the University of Massachusetts and at galleries throughout New England, and may be found in private collections in Israel, the United States and Mexico. I have been a resident of San Miguel for the past seven years. I invite you to join me on my journey of discovery.
