Applying Balinese mask-mysticism as a template, this event will explore the mystery of this ancient art and the metaphor of transformation. Additionally, it will examine the plethora of personalities we embody from a perspective of archetypal psychology, Balinese mysticism and Sufi metaphysics. Surapsari, also a Balinese temple dancer, will complement this presentation. Admission is 100 pesos. Saddiq Indra has lived in Bali for over 25 years. He has studied dance and ritual movement with internationally recognized Balinese dancers and dance–priests. Saddiq has been performing and teaching meditation and Sufi mysticism internationally. He holds a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Lesley University in Massachusetts. A great deal of his academic work was conducted in Bali and centered on ethnographic studies, myth, Jungian psychology, Sufism and Balinese dance ritual.
