The event will begin at 4pm, with a lecture on the importance of the rescue of traditional cuisine, giving way to a Mexican dishes workshop taught by traditional cooks, who will be cooking corundas, a traditional dish from Michoacan, ending with a tasting of traditional cuisine, as well as sale of Oaxacan products and food from Vía Orgánica.
Also on June 9, Hacienda Purisima de Jalpa will receive Benedicta Alejo Vargas, traditional Michoacan cook, who has been one of the main promoters for the rescue of Mexican cuisine. For more information visit sanmiguelgourmet.com
