Canadian 60s icon, Dave Bingham, to play Friday nights at VC & Friends

Canadian singer-harmonica player Dave Bingham will be performing every Friday night in March and April at VC & Friends. His career highlights include; opening for The Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Beach Boys, The McCoys, Wilson Pickett, Sam the Sham and The Pharoahs, Gary Lewis and The Playboys, Jeff Healey, Albert King and King Biscuit Boy. He has also jammed with iconic artists Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Miles, Junior Wells and Buddy Guy and John Lee Hooker.

The first album he recorded with his band “The Ugly Ducklings” was voted number 72 in “The Top 100 Canadian Albums” in 2008, and the first single he recorded (Nothin’), which debuted the night he opened for The Rolling Stones, was voted number.42 in “The Top 100 Canadian Singles” in 2009.
He has traveled extensively throughout Mexico, and came to San Miguel de Allende for the first time in 2003. Over the years he has jammed with many local musicians in clubs around the Jardín.
Dave and his wife Jane own and operate a pottery business in Canada just outside of Toronto, Ontario, and sell their wares at shows throughout the province.
His current bands “Rhythm Pot Pi” and “The Lost Chords” can be seen on his “Youtube Channel”, along with many videos (164) of various bands from his past and present, and other music projects that he has been associated with over the years. Included in this archive of video performances are numerous videos of The Tio Lucas Trio and The Lost Chords, filmed at Tio Lucas Restaurant and La Malinche over the last four years.
Dave will be appearing at VC & Friends every Friday night from 10pm along with The Lost Chords featuring Ken Basman, guitar; Rick Shlosser, drums and Danny Beltran, bass. No cover charge!
