Rosewood Residences: new ownership, new sales team

By Gregory R. Gunter

Speculation about the local Artesana Rosewood Residences development—adjacent to the Rosewood San Miguel hotel—ended this month with the public announcement of new ownership.

The entire property—both the hotel and residential components—are newly owned by an investment group from Mexico City with substantial experience and tenure in the hospitality and real estate development industries. Rosewood Hotels, as manager of the hotel property, managed a seamless transition of the hospitality component and the new ownership is ensuring an equally smooth transition with the residential component.

Local real estate broker Daniel Ortiz, in a joint venture with Coldwell Banker Commercial—located in Mexico City—and led by Luis Mendez and Rodrigo Medrano, hold the exclusive, long-term contract to represent all sales activity on Artesana. “The ownership team valued our luxury property expertise,” said Ortiz. “As owners of Mexico’s first certified Coldwell Banker Previews office—the premier residential division within Coldwell Banker, representing luxury properties in 51 countries—our sales team is ideally suited for the discriminating buyers at Artesana Rosewood.”

Artesana Rosewood Residences—28 homes are completed, with 12 already sold—showcase a luxurious lifestyle appealing to international homebuyers.
