Three Kings Day party at Mexiquito
By José Luis Vallejo
January 6 of every year represents one of the most special and emotional days for each child in Mexico. The night before this day it is difficult for the children to sleep because of the thrill of finding a gift right next to one of their shoes, with the coveted gift that has been asked for in the letter sent to one of the Three Wise Men; Melchor, Gaspar and Baltazar who traveled a long distance to offer the baby Jesus gold, frankincense and myrrh as gifts. The same star that guided the Three Wise Men for over 2000 years is the same we want to shine and that leads to a unique celebration in honor of the 23 boys currently living in the home shrine Mexiquito.
Día de Reyes in Mexiquito

On the road to Dolores
Calderoni Properties and the Bagel Café are preparing to carry out a special party for one purpose, to make each child keep the enthusiasm and the hope that the Three Wise Men have recalled being with them to meet and bring their wish. Each child has drawn a picture and a letter with their personal wishes. These pictures and letters are being showcased in a special mural in the Bagel Cafe on Correo 19.
We are looking for these 23 Wise Men who will sponsor the children and support us to fulfill those desires and to celebrate together in a special party on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at noon, in the courtyards of Mexiquito (Road to Dolores Hidalgo). There will be gifts, piñatas, food and lots of fun, and most importantly for you to join in person with the boy you have sponsored. We hope to see you there!
If you wish to donate for the party only, we will have a box at the Bagel Cafe where we will receive cash donations for the event. Thank you for being part of a wish and making it happen! Please contact Jose Luis Vallejo for further details about sponsoring at 044 415 107 8224 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
