La Zona business neighborbood celebrates with Puertas Abiertas

Puertas Abiertas (Open Houses) will take place in calles Pila Seca, Codo, and Zacateros businesses, including retail shops, restaurants, and galleries, and will be open late at night to welcome weary holiday buyers with wonderful food, drinks, and great promotions.

La Zona member Anna Sinclair from Mixta is “decking her halls,” Robin and Fernando from La Mesa Grande are “hauling out their holly,” Fran from Magenta Gallery is dusting off her recipe for figgy pudding, and Jim and Alfredo from Camino Silvestre are hanging their mistletoe in just the right place to make the night full of comfort and joy. La Zona is in its second successful year of jointly promoting the small businesses in the Zacateros corridor. They plan on hosting multiple events throughout the year in 2013 to increase business for their members and San Miguel de Allende.
